| 自己紹介 | Hi there! I am Teacher Khai, a licensed professional teacher from Philippines. I have a varied experience in ESL teaching from different ages, and also has an experience in classroom setting. In my previous work online, I used learning materials like toys, books and other materials that helped my students understand the lesson easier. I also enjoyed free talk especially when we exchange opinion and perspective about a certain topic. When I used to teach in a private school, my students thought that I was a strict teacher. Few days after, they found out that I am a teacher with good sense of humor and always ready to laugh with them. I made them handmade board games for their activities which they really enjoyed and other activities using their critical thinking skills. Until now, my students still greets me every time they see me. My teaching experiences with online and offline students have developed my interpersonal skill which is really important as a teacher. I also learned to respect each students learning pace, their uniqueness and expectations. During rest days, I love gardening with my dog, a Labrador. I also do handmade crafts for personal use. Aside from being an English teacher, I am also a Social Science teacher. I love visiting different countries and studying their history as to why my English speaking skills has developed. Hopefully, my next destination would be Japan. As your English teacher, I will help you to gain confidence in speaking English by teaching correct grammar, widening vocabulary and proper pronunciation and intonation. Thank you! ーーー 皆さんこんにちは！私はフィリピンの教員免許を持つ先生、カイといいます。ESL講師として様々な年齢層への指導経験があり、クラスでの指導経験もあります。 これまで経験したオンラインレッスンでは、おもちゃや本などの教材を使い、生徒がレッスンを理解しやすいように工夫しました。また、様々なトピックについて意見や見解を交換するフリートークも好きでした。以前、私立学校で教えていたとき、生徒たちは私のことを厳しい先生だと思っていました。数日後、生徒たちは私がユーモアのセンスがあり、いつも一緒に笑ってくれる先生だと知りました。私は生徒たちのために手作りのボードゲームを作り、彼らはそれをとても楽しんでいました。今でも、生徒たちは私に会うたびに挨拶をしてくれます。 オンラインやオフラインの生徒との指導経験は、講師として本当に重要な対人関係のスキルを身につけることができました。また、生徒一人ひとりの学習ペースや個性、期待を尊重することも学びました。 休日は、愛犬のラブラドールとガーデニングを楽しんでいます。また、個人的にハンドメイドのクラフトをすることもあります。私は、英語講師でもあり、社会科学教師でもあります。いろいろな国を訪れ、その国の歴史を勉強するのが大好きです。 次の目的地は日本です。 私はあなたの英語講師として、正しい文法、幅広い語彙、正しい発音とイントネーションを教えることで、英語を話すことに自信を持てるようにお手伝いします。私のクラスでお会いできるのを楽しみにしています！ |
